COLUMBUS, Miss. (May 5) - The sounds of horsepower will infiltrate "The Baddest Bullring in the South" Columbus Speedway this Saturday night, May 10th for the 10th Annual Carl Hogan Automotive Group John L Cliett Tribute plus all local divisions with racing action scheduled for 7:30pm. The annual John L Cliett Tribute will feature a 59-lap $5,000 to win main event as the O'Reilly Southern All Stars will take on the O'Reilly SUPR Series plus an always potent field of regional superstars with a purse with over $20,000 on the line for the ground pounders in what should be another wild event, especially following the wild and "get down" James King Memorial event.

It is always a battle to when the Mississippi/Alabama/Tennessee/Louisiana regional heroes take on the SUPR and OSAS invaders in what should be another night of "don't miss" action.

Mike Boland from Cuba , AL is the defending and two Champion of the prestigious event and will be on hand to defend his title at the Bullring.

Race fans should take note that last year's version of the JLC Tribute was a wild one to say the least as David Ashley and Chris Walll waged war for the lead among others with Ashley charging to the lead from 11th starting position and while later battling with Wall with Wall barrel rolling after contact was made between the two fierce competitors. Mike Boland would then pass a high flying David Breazeale with 3 laps to go to take the coveted win in the exciting event. The race saw 4 different leaders in the wild event. David Breazeale won the SAS versus SUPR event in 2006 at Columbus Speedway as well.

Due to the two series getting together there will be special rules for the Super Late Models for this event.
