WHEELERSBURG, Ohio (May 1) - R.J. Conley racked up his second win in as many weekends on Saturday night, April 26 at the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio! R.J. won the dash at K-C to earn the pole position for the $2,000 to win A-Main. At the end of the main event at the south-central Ohio speedplant, the Wheelersburg, Ohio native crossed the finish line first ahead of Jackie Boggs, Ben Adkins, Doug Drown, and Duane Chamberlain. A night earlier, R.J. was in action in another $2,000 to win event at the Rocky Top Raceway in Coal Grove, Ohio. He ran fourth in the dash prior to finishing a strong second in the 30-lap A-Main behind winner Jackie Boggs.

Rod Conley also competed at both Rocky Top and K-C to round out his month of April. "Hot Rod" ran third in his heat race at Rocky Top on Friday night, April 25 before finishing thirteenth in the $2,000 to win main event. The driver of the #71r then won his heat race at K-C the following evening prior to running a solid eighth in the A-Main. Delmas Conley, the patriarch of the racing Conley's, entered only the K-C event on Saturday evening. After a strong heat race victory, the Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer wheeled his familiar #71 entry to a seventh place performance in the feature event. You can view complete results from both Rocky Top and K-C online at www.rockytopraceway.net and www.kc-raceway.com!

"It was a great weekend for us, as we were able to run up front both nights against some good competition," quoted R.J. Conley earlier in the week. "Our car was awesome up top at K-C on Saturday and it seemed like everyone else was running the middle to the bottom of the track. That allowed us a clear lane up top and we were able to get the win. Then at Rocky Top, I got up alongside of Jackie (Boggs) for the lead with about eight to go and Rod unfortunately brought out the caution. I never could get back going after the caution period and wound up second."
