CLEVELAND, Tenn. (April 26) - After winning the Top Tracks Crate Late Model event last week Todd Morrow came back to win the Super Late Model feature Saturday night at Cleveland Speedway.

Pole sitter Randy Burrows would take the early lead followed by Brad Coffey, Aaron Ridley, Morrow and Shorty Frazier. Wasting little time Morrow would move into third on the second lap and into second behind new leader Ridley when Burrows lost a rear end on the fourth circuit. With Ridley in the lead and Morrow applying the pressure Coffey held down third, Frazier fourth and Bobby Mayse fifth.

As the laps wound down Lee Sutton had moved into fourth spot behind Ridley, Morrow and Frazier. With five laps to go Ridley would experience engine problems and head for the pits. This moved Morrow into the top spot. Morrow would hold off Frazier for the last five laps to take the win with Frazier settling for second, Sutton third, Nick Yancey fourth and Mayse fifth.

By virtue of his third place finish at North Georgia Speedway on Friday and his seventh at Cleveland Ridley picked up a $100 bonus.

Justin Litchford held off Chris Beavers to take the Limited/Crate Late Model win. Litchford took the lead from Craig Burrows on the third lap of the 20-lap feature. He would hold off first Burrows and then Chris Beavers on his way to victory. Beavers would finish second with John Ownbey coming from sixth to finish third. Burrows would settle for fourth with Brian Jackson fifth.

Chris Beavers was the highest finisher with Crate power and picked up an additional $100. Craig Burrows picked up an additional $50 for the best combined finish.

Tanner Works and defending champion Todd Hernandez continued their battle to see who will top the A-Hobby ranks this season. Tonight it was Works taking the win with Hernandez coming from seventh on the grid to move past Devin Stuart for second with seven laps remaining in the 20 lap feature. Stuart would finish third, Robbie Green fourth and Tommy Miller fifth.

The combination of his Hobby win at North Georgia and his win at Cleveland, Works picked up an additional $100.

Donald Forgey took the lead from Chuck Heling on the ninth circuit of the B-Hobby feature and went on to take the win. It was the first B-Hobby win of the season for Forgey. Heling would take second, Michael Anderson third, Cody Herron fourth and John Barats fifth.

Early leader and last week's winner Chad Collins would finish ninth.

Holding off David Goode and Danny Burnette, Jimmy Elliott made it three Pony feature wins in a row. Elliott, who won the Pony feature at North Georgia the night before, picked up an additional $100 for the back-to-back wins. Following Elliott across the line were Burnette, John Smith, Nick Webb and Goode.

Mark Cope became only the second winner of the season in the Front Runner division when apparent winner and the winner of the first three events Kenny Kizzar refused to sell his car. James Bragg was second and was followed across the line by Jeff Curvin, John Burger and Kenny Adams.
