WHEELERSBURG, Ohio (April 24) - R.J. and Rod Conley invaded the Rocky Top Raceway in Coal Grove, Ohio on Friday night, April 18 for the track's season opening event. R.J. picked up his first victory of the young 2008 racing season last Friday at Rocky Top, as he swept the evening's Dirt Late Model action. The driver of the American Metal Supply Company / Conley Trucking / Cornett Building Supply / Vinyl Kraft Windows #71c Rocket / Draime entry set fast time in qualifying, won his heat race, and led all thirty laps of the A-Main en route to the $2,000 triumph over Terry Hicks and his brother Rod Conley.

"Hot Rod" ran second in his heat race on Friday at Rocky Top prior to the strong third place effort in the 30-lap A-Main. Delmas Conley was out of action on Friday night, but was scheduled to join his sons at the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio on Saturday, April 19. However, Mother Nature wiped out the action at K-C early in the afternoon. You can view complete results from Rocky Top last weekend online at www.rockytopraceway.net!

"It feels great to get our first win of the season in only our second start," commented R.J. Conley this week. "The car worked well through the holes and we did everything necessary to win the race. When you set fast time and win your heat race, it makes your job as a driver a whole lot easier when you are sitting on the pole of the feature. I have to thank my crew for all of their hard work and all of our great sponsors for their continued support. Hopefully, there are many more wins on the horizon for the Conley Motorsports, Inc. teams!"

All three Conley Motorsports, Inc. drivers once again have Rocky Top and K-C penciled in for their upcoming weekend plans. The Rocky Top Raceway in Coal Grove, Ohio will play host to another $2,000 to win show on Friday night, April 25, while the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio will look to beat Mother Nature on Saturday evening with their own $2,000 to win event. You can view more information about both Buckeye State venues online at www.rockytopraceway.net and www.kc-raceway.com.

The Conley Motorsports, Inc. teams would like to thank the following companies for their support this season: American Metal Supply Company, Conley Trucking, Cornett Building Supply, Vinyl Kraft Windows, Mortgage One Financial Group, Brown Services, Rocket Chassis, Draime Racing Engines, Impact Racing Decals, Schoenfeld Headers, Snap-On Racing, Hoosier Racing Tires, Wrisco, Allstar Performance, Design 500, Bazell Race Fuels, Poske's Performance Parts, Mason Racin', Arizona Sport Shirts, Delph Communications, and Weld Racing Wheels.
