MSCCS SUPER LATE MODELS SET TO INVADE JACKSON MOTOR SPEEDWAY THIS SATURDAY

BYRAM, Miss. (April 23) - Jackson Motor Speedway welcomes its first major event of the 2008 season this Saturday, April 26th as the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series Super Late Models thunder into town.

The MSCCS Super Late Models were set to invade three weeks ago, but Mother Nature had other ideas. As a result, this Saturday will mark the first major event held at the newly revamped Jackson Motor Speedway. With two weekly shows of superb racing in the books, JMS is pumped about the invasion of the travelers. The invading Super Late Model competitors will find a formidable challenge as the local competitors look to keep the first place money at home. The clash of the travelers and local drivers will culminate with a 50 lap, $2,500 to win/$300 to start feature event.

Some of the Super Late Model drivers expected for Saturday's event include Chris Wall, Bub McCool, Jeremy Broadus, David Ashley, Jimmy Cliburn, Jason Cliburn, Scott Slay, David Breazeale, Scott Creel, Chad Thrash, and many more! For more information on the MSCCS please visit www.StateSeries.com .

Also in action this Saturday, April 26th JMS will be The Home Improvement Company Limited Late Models, Franklin Paving UMP Modifieds, Trick Race & Hawkins Machine Shop Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Touch of Class Body Shop Stingers.

Grandstand general admission for the event is $15 for adults, $8 for children (7-12 years of age), $8 for seniors (65 and older), and children 6 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult. Pit admission for adults is $30, $15 for children (7-12 years of age), seniors (65 years of age and older) are $15, and children 6 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Pit gates open at 4 pm with the grandstand area opening at 5 pm. Driver's meeting will be at 6 pm with hotlaps at 6:15 pm and MSCCS Super Late Model qualifying at 7 pm.
