VICKSBURG, Miss. (April 17) - Bub McCool and McCool Motorsports will travel to Rodney Wing's Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi this Saturday, April 19th for a $2,500 to win event.

Last weekend Bub entered a pair of events in Mississippi and Alabama, but luck would not be the side of the pilot of the #57j Trakstar/Barker Racing Engine Super Late Model. On Friday night at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama, McCool broke both rear brake rotors on his first qualifying lap, which forced him to the pits before he could lay down a solid lap. In the feature, Bub amazingly broke another brake rotor on the warm up lap for the feature ending his night before the feature ever took the green flag.

On Saturday night, Bub traveled to Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi for the 16th Annual James King Memorial. Bub started 9th in the feature event, and for much of the feature event battled in the top 10 before retiring near the race's midpoint with mechanical woes. He was credited with a 17th place finish.

This Saturday, April 19th, McCool will be in action with the MSCCS Super Late Models at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi for a $2,500 to win, 50 lap event. For more information on the event, please visit www.WhynotMotorsportsPark.com .
