CHARLESTON, Mo. (April 16) - Todd Hall was behind the wheel of his #99 Mastersbilt Crate Late Model at West Plains Motor Speedway in West Plains, Missouri on Saturday and recorded a 5th place finish.

The night got off to a rough start for the Charleston, Missouri native, who had a flat tire in his heat race, which pinned him with a 15th starting position in the feature event. At the drop of the green flag in the feature, Hall began his march to the front, and when the checkered flag fell he was credited with a 5th place finish. Even better, the top 5 finishers from the event, automatically locked into this weekend's $5,000 to win FasTrak Late Model Series Event at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri.

"It was great to pass so many cars in the feature after our bad luck in the heat race. I really thought that we would have an even better finish than we did, but the tires went away on the last restart. Either way, I'm just happy to be locked into Saturday's main event at Malden," commented Hall.

This Friday and Saturday, April 18th-19th Malden Speedway will be hosting a $5,000 to win FasTrak Late Model Series event. Hall has enjoyed success at Malden Speedway in the past with a pair of Crate Late Model feature wins at the facility in 2007. For more information, please visit www.MaldenSpeedway.com .
