VIENNA, W.V. (April 10) - Steve Shaver and the Shaver Motorsports Cosgrove Racing Team will travel to the state of Ohio this weekend and compete at K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, OH in a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned event. Saturday's events will feature a 50-lap feature event paying $10,000 to the winner. The race will also be taped for broadcast on SPEED Channel later this year. K-C Raceway is located 12 miles south of Chillicothe, OH on State Road 23, two miles off of Blain Highway in Alma, OH. For more information you can visit www.kc-raceway.com. Steve will debut his new Victory Circle Chassis this weekend at K-C Raceway. Steve has been working closely with Billy Moyer over the winter as he prepared his new Victory Circle Chassis for the 2008 season. "Were excited about running the new car this weekend. Billy has been real good on his Victory Circle Chassis this year so hopefully we apply some of the things that have worked for him into our Victory Circle chassis", stated Steve.

After Saturday's event Steve will travel to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA on Tuesday April 15th for a 50-lap $10,000 to win World of Outlaws sanctioned event. From there Steve and the team will make the haul to the Lowes Dirt Track in Concord, NC on Friday and Saturday April 18-19th for the "Colossal 100" that pays $50,000 to the feature winner. This event will also be sanctioned by the World of Outlaws sanctioning body.

Steve and the Shaver Motorsports/Cosgrove Racing Team have not been able to race as much this year as originally planned for the 2008 season. Sponsorship commitments for the 2008 season have not panned out which in turn has reduced the operating funds for the team to compete with on a weekly basis. The rising diesel fuel costs have also contributed to a racing schedule that is closer to Steve's home state of West Virginia. Steve and the team are actively seeking sponsorship for the 2008 season and would encourage any potential sponsor to contact Steve for sponsorship opportunities with the Shaver Motorsports/Cosgrove Racing Team.

Steve Shaver Motorsports and his race team, Cosgrove Racing, continue to thank their current sponsors, Drywall Systems Inc, United Bank, Lakeview Estates, Malcuit Racing Engines, Sunoco Race Fuels, Penske Racing Shocks, Hyperco, Bert Transmissions, Schoenfeld Headers, Wrisco Aluminum, Cyco Custom Race Products, Hoosier Tires, Behea Headers, Weld Wheels, Mason Racin, Winters, Poskes Performance, WRT Webdesigns and WD Enterprises.
