CARTERSVILLE, Ga. (April 9) - The Best Western Hotel in McComb, MS is the Official Host Hotel for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series 100-lap $10,000-to-win Cajun Spring Nationals at Pike County Speedway in McComb, MS on April 25-26. The Best Western Hotel will be offering NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series fans and competitors a special discount rate.

The Best Western Hotel in McComb, MS is located at exit 17 on I-55, and features comfortable rooms with free high-speed internet and an indoor pool. The Cajun Spring Nationals is the richest points race of the 2008 for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Tour, and many of the top drivers in the country are expected to compete for the top prize of $10,000.

Chip Brindle of Chatsworth, GA leads the NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS National point standings by just eight points over Jeff Fields of Aragon, GA after the first four events of the 2008 season. Other top NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS drivers expected for the two-day show include Chris Tays of Corinth, MS, Larry Boutwell of Baker, FL, and Jay Blair of Angie, LA.

Also expected are veterans Johnny Stokes of Columbus, MS, Mike Boland of Cuba, AL, and the defending and two-time NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series West Region Champion Lucky Keeton of Toomsuba, MS.

There are also several drivers competing for the 2008 Sunoco Race Fuels Rookie of the Year Award that include Jason Hiett of Lincoln, AL, Scott Knowles of Lanett, AL, Hunter Peacock of Macon, GA, Steve Godsey of Bedford, IN, and Jim Moon of Zionsville, IN. Other top NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS regulars expected include Ted Lackey of Munford, AL, and Matthew Turner of Dawsonville, GA.

The NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS cars and stars will compete in Qualifying and Heat Races on Friday night April 25, and the B-Main Races and the 100-lap $10,000-to-win main event will take place on Saturday night, April 26.
