SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (April 7) - Rachel York recorded her first Top 10 of the 2008 racing season at the Little Rock, Arkansas famed I-30 Speedway on Saturday night at the O'Reilly MSRA Late Model Series season opener. York arrived at the event late, and struggled in her heat race, but raced her way in through the B-Main where she started 18th and worked her way up to the 10th position when the checkered flags were thrown at the end of the night.

When asked about her Top 10 finish, Rachel stated "It feels great to finish in the Top 10 with the caliber of guys who were out here. I feel like I accomplished a lot. I was able to run a couple of laps side by side with Jeff Floyd, and that made me feel good and like I accomplished a lot to be able to run side by side with him. We'll build off of this and hope to get better."
