DEERY BROTHERS SUMMER SERIES MAKES FIRST '08 APPEARANCE AT QUINCY RACEWAYS

QUINCY, Ill. (April 7) - The Deery Brothers Summer Series for IMCA Late Models will make it's first appearance at Quincy Raceways on Sunday, April 13. A fifty lap $2000 to win main event will be on tap for the fourth scheduled event of the 2008 series. The first two events at Eagle Raceway in Nebraska saw car counts of thirty four and thirty eight entries. The Series will appear and Burlington's 34 Raceway on Saturday, April 12 and then it's onto Quincy Raceways. This two day swing for the Deery Brothers tour always brings a great turnout of racers both in the IMCA Late Models as well as all the other divisions.

The Deery Brothers Summer Series is not the only special event on the schedule at Quincy Raceways as the Miller Lite Modifieds, Triple R Performance Engines Sunoco IMCA Stock Cars and the Tim's Machine Shop Hobby Stocks will all be competing for increased purse. The Modifieds will be fighting it out for a $500 top prize in a twenty five lap main event paying at $115 to start, the IMCA Stock Cars will be racing in a twenty lap main event paying $375 to win and $75 to start. The Hobby Stock feature event will pay $250 to win and $55 to start.

The Pit Gates will open at 3pm to help with driver registration and tech inspection. Spectator gates open at 4 with the draw ending at 5:45. The drivers meeting will be at 5:45 with Hot Laps scheduled for 6:00 and racing action at 6:30pm.
