CRESTON, Ohio (April 7) - Jason & Kristin Flory ('Mr. & Mrs. Late Model') of Creston, OH will be making a return appearance on the Handy Randy Autocare TV program on Sunday April 20. They will discuss their careers and their upcoming 2008 racing season. This season the Flory's will each be racing a Mastersbilt Race Car sponsored by Joe Mcillvaine, J&D Truck Leasing, LLC, Ray's Garage, Kurt's Auto Parts, Winar Conections/#1 Sales, Donnie Moran Racing, Hodge's Café, American Racer by Tye Twarog, Millistone Services, Mason Racin, Farriss Farms & Medina Mountain Motors.
The Handy Randy Autocare TV show is hosted by Randy Lipscomb and at 14 seasons old is the longest running show on the 'CAT' (Cleveland/Akron) network. The show airs every Sunday evening from 8:00 - 9:00 PM EST over WAX Channel 35 (Cleveland) and WAOH Channel 29 in Akron in addition to being carried on all the major cable providers.
The Handy Randy Show covers cruises, repair tips, car shows, race events and much more (all things automotive!).
In addition to the program being broadcast from WAX Channel 35 (Cleveland) and WAOH Channel 29 in Akron, viewers can also tune in and catch the show via numerous cable system outlets including Time Warner (Akron-Portage), Cox (Cleveland), Armstrong (Wayne County), Adelphia (Summit County) and Clear Picture/Massillon Cable among others.
Recently dirt Late Model drivers Jason & Kristin Flory of Creston, OH, known by their many fans as 'Mr. & Mrs. Late Model', are gearing up for the 2008 racing season and have announced tentative plans. Starting off their 2008 season this month will be their first regular season appearance in Ohio at Lakeville Speedway on April 11.
"The plan is on racing at Lakeville Speedway on Friday nights because it is close and we can't get any where else due to work," explained Kristin. "I just want to focus on winning. Points are not going to be a focus because if a special race comes up out of town that we want to go to we want to be able to pick up and go."
"Wayne County Speedway is also in the plans along with Muskingum County and KC. I would like to rotate but who knows with Jason (laughs)! We tentatively plan on racing a couple of races at Hilltop Speedway on Saturday night for the Limited Late Models the beginning of the year."
Along with the Mastersbilt Race Cars they utilized last year a new Mastersbilt from the shop of Donnie Moran Racing will also be in the stable for Jason to use in 2008.
The Flory Racing Team is also comprised of crew chief Paul McVicker, Dale Michael, Joe McIlvaine and part time crewmembers Mark Uhler, Helen Uhler, Janet Parker & John Stone.
Jason & Kristin also released late last season their all-new 'Mr. & Mrs. Late Model' T-Shirt designed and produced by ASI Racewear. The new T-Shirts are now available for purchase.
The new 'Mr. & Mrs. Late Model' T Shirts are in full color with both race cars displayed on the front. Sizes available include Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, XX-Large and XXX-Large. Cost per shirt is only $15.00 and they are available at the team's hauler at each race track they compete at.
