BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (April 2) - Billy Drake Racing will travel to South Georgia this weekend and compete in three Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned events in three days. Starting on Thursday Night, April 3rd at the Swainsboro Raceway, Friday, April 4th at Screven Motor Speedway and Saturday Night, April 5th at the Golden Isles Speedway the team will compete all three nights with Thursday night's event paying $7,000 to win and Friday and Saturdays events paying $10,000 each to win. The event at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, GA will be taped by SPEED Channel and will be shown on a date and time to be announced in the future.

"I'm looking forward to these weekends events. It's good that the series can get three races booked together on one weekend for the racers that travel so far. It gives us three opportunities to make some money instead of traveling that far for only one race. The Lucas Oil Series has done a great job with the schedule this year and this weekend will be fun and a lot warmer than last weekend's event at Brownstown Speedway", stated Billy.

Billy competed last weekend in Brownstown Indiana for the "Indiana Icebreaker" at the famous Brownstown Speedway. The 50-lap feature event was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and will paid $10,000 to the winner. Billy would finish third in his heat race to earn the 18th starting position for the feature. Billy would advance to 12th early in the event but was caught up in a turn one wreck that damaged the car to much to continue. Billy was credited with a 24th place finish. Billy is currently in 20th in the series national points standings.
