BATESVILLE, Ark. (April 1) - Billy Moyer Jr. from Batesville, Arkansas was in action behind the wheel of his #21jr Victory Circle M1 Chassis by Moyer Super Late Model on Saturday night and raced his way to a top ten finish.
Moyer Jr. finished third in his heat race, which earned him an 8th starting position for the feature event. Billy battled in the top ten throughout the event, and finally settled for a 9th place finish.
"The car was decent in the feature, and actually was pretty good on the long runs, but the cautions just killed our momentum. We're definitely happy with a top ten finish though, and hopefully we can pick up the first win of the year this weekend," commented Billy.
This weekend Jr. Motorsports will return to action on Friday, April 4th at Beebe Speedway in Beebe, Arkansas for a $1,500 to win event, sanctioned by the AMP Super Late Model tour. For more information on the event, please visit www.AMPSeries.com .
On Saturday, April 5th, action will shift to Tracy Clay's I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas for the 2008 O'Reilly MSRA Super Late Model season opener.
