Ronnie Williams LEBANON, Mo. (March 31) - The Traveling MLRA LateModel Racing Association will open up its 2008 Racing Season This Friday night April 4th at the Lebanon Midway Speedway.
This will be the 1st of 2 scheduled appearances this season with an action packed field set to challenge.
Expected entries include defending champion Alan Vaughn of Belton, Mo. Terry Phillips of Springfield, Jeremy Payne of Springfield, Brandon McCormick of Lebanon, Nebraska Hotshoe John Anderson, David Turner of Creighton, Chris Smyser of Lancaster and many other top late model Drivers.
Local support classes will feature action in the USRA Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Bombers, SuperStocks and B-Mods as these will be track point races.
Gates will open at 5PM with hotlaps at 6:50 and Racing at 8PM Sharp. Admission will be $15.00 for Adults in the Grandstands with kids prices 10-15 $5 and 10 and under Free. Pitpasses will be $30.00.
This will be the 5th time the MLRA has visited the Midway with Al "The Shark" Purkey, Alan Vaughn, Terry Phillips and Billy Moyer all capturing victories.
