Chinn Motorsports
BRADFORD, Ohio (March 31) - "The Sniper" Wayne Chinn ventured to Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN for the annual Indiana Icebreaker event sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Series over the weekend. Wayne proved that he, and the entire Chinn Motorsports team, had picked their game up this season as he set quick time in group one and fifth overall, out of the 61 car field.

The strength of the Erwin Chrysler Dodge Jeep / Sugar Creek Packing / 1 Shot Graphics / AWP of Ohio / Dargie Powered / Rayburn Race Car showed through as Wayne wheeled his way around the quarter mile semi-banked track and won the heat race over Rohn Moon and Bart Hartman to earn a starting spot in the feature event. Chinn rolled off the grid sitting fourth on the outside of the second row, and as they took the green flag he used the highline of the race track, but it didn't work to his advantage. A wrong tire decision would stop the forward progress of the Chinn Motorsports Rayburn Race Car. But, Wayne managed to hold on and bring home an eleventh place finish, just outside the top ten.

The good run would bring the Chinn Motorsports team up to eleventh place in Lucas Oil Late Model Series point standings, just 180 points out of the lead and 25 points out of the top 10. This would also bring Wayne up to second in the Rookie of the Year standings.
