TRUMANN, Ark. (March 31) - Kyle Beard and Beard Motorsports are set to compete in a pair of sanctioned events in their home state of Arkansas this weekend as they travel to Beebe Speedway (Beebe, Arkansas) and I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas).

Last weekend, Kyle traveled to Monticello Speedway in Monticello, Arkansas for a $1,500 to win event with the AMP Super Late Models. Beard entered the event as the point's leader, but continued bad luck would plague him throughout the night. Kyle finished 2nd in his heat race and started 6th in feature. Beard was battling in the top five in the feature event, when something on the front of the car locked up causing him to spin. As a result of the damage, Kyle made the decision to retire from the event and was officially scored with an 18th place finish.

"Something just isn't right on the front end of the car, and we're going to tear it down this week and get to the bottom of it," Kyle Beard commented on Sunday. "We've been battling this same problem since the North Alabama event, and hopefully the issue will be resolved this week."

Kyle will take his #86 GRT By Frye/Samuels Performance Engine Super Late Model into battle this Friday, April 4th at Beebe Speedway in Beebe, Arkansas for a $1,500 to win event, sanctioned by the AMP Super Late Model tour. For more information on the event, please visit www.AMPSeries.com .

On Saturday, April 5th, action will shift to Tracy Clay's I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas for the 2008 O'Reilly MSRA Super Late Model season opener. The 40 lap event at the ¼ mile will pay $2,000 to win. For more information, please visit www.MSRADirt.com .

Kyle Beard would like to thank his sponsors including KB Transport, Gary Beard Trucking, Samuel's Performance Engines, Engines Inc., Mean Street Motors, Inc., Extreme Graphix (Jonesboro, AR), Bill Frye Motorsports, and MSRMafia.com Marketing Services. Beard Motorsports is always looking for more sponsors, and anyone, who may be interested, can find more information at www.KyleBeard86.com .
