BATESVILLE, Ark. (March 17) - Billy Moyer Jr. from Batesville, Arkansas kicked off the 2008 season over the weekend behind the wheel of his #21jr Victory Circle M1 Chassis by Moyer Super Late Model at Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City, Kentucky.

Billy was excited about his chances during the course of the three day March Madness at KLMS, but luck would not be on his side. On Thursday night, motor problems hampered him throughout the program, and he was caught up in an accident in the consolation event, which ended his night. On Friday night, motor problems would once again put a damper on the night, which resulted in Billy falling short of transferring to the main event. Saturday night's program was nixed by heavy rain.

This weekend, Moyer Jr. will look to get his season on track with a pair of O'Reilly Southern United Professional Racers (SUPR) Super Late Model Series events at Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas. Action gets underway on Friday night with a 25 lap, $1,250 to win feature event. On Saturday night a 50 lap, $2,500 to win feature event will be held.
