FLIPPIN, Ark. (March 17) - Super Late Model driver, Dusty Johnston, from Flippin, Arkansas is the latest addition to the MSR Mafia and has launched a brand new website at www.DustyJohnston16.com .
In 2008, Dusty is entering his tenth year of racing, and he will be piloting his #16 GRT By Frye/Kuntz & Co. Racing Engine Super Late Model in a wide variety of series and unsanctioned events. He will principally concentrate on claiming the title in the O'Reilly MSRA Late Model Series. In 2007, Dusty won four feature events with the O'Reilly MSRA, earned the most pole awards with the tour, and finished 3rd in the final point's standings. When not competing with the O'Reilly MSRA, Johnston will compete with various sanctions as well as several national events. Dusty will kick off the 2008 season this weekend at Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas with the O'Reilly Southern United Professional Racers (SUPR) Super Late Model Series. Action gets underway on Friday night with a 25 lap, $1,250 to win feature event. On Saturday night a 50 lap, $2,500 to win feature event will be held.
