KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (March 17) - Warrior Race Cars, based out of Knoxville, Tennessee, is excited to announce today that John Gill will pilot their House Car during the course of the 2008 racing season! The new combination will kick-off their '08 campaign on Saturday night, March 22 at the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky. The annual 'Spring 50' will be held at the King-family owned 1/2-mile, high-banked dirt oval and a $5,000 top prize is up for grabs. John Gill, or the "Modern Day Cowboy" as he is known to his faithful followers, brings a wealth of Dirt Late Model experience to the Warrior House Car program. John is a two-time winner of the 'Jackson 100' (1994, 1996), a two-time winner of the 'Indiana Icebreaker' (2002, 2004), a four-time winner of the 'Hoosier Dirt Classic' (1989, 1992, 1996, 2003), and a five-time winner of the 'Kenny Simpson Memorial' (1989, 1990, 1995, 1996, 2004) at the Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana. In addition to his exploits at Brownstown, John is also a two-time 'North/South 100' winner at the Florence (KY) Speedway and a former two-time UMP National Champion.

John and the Warrior team will run a full schedule in 2008. After Florence, the #75 team will travel to the Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana for the $10,000 to win 'Indiana Icebreaker' on March 29. The team will enter all of the big shows at Brownstown, along with all of the major events at the Florence (KY) Speedway and the Volunteer (TN) Speedway. In between all of those events, expect the team to be in attendance at high-profile races such as the 'Dream 100,' the 'World 100,' and the 'Show-Me 100.'
