Jason Shank FRANKLIN, Penn. (March 10) - The 2007 Mid-Atlantic Championship Series (MACS) Rookie of the Year Matt Lux and his M3 Motorsports, Inc. race team found themselves in Butler, PA last Saturday, March 1st for the Lernerville Speedway Annual Awards Banquet. Matt was honored for his seventh place finish in the season ending Budweiser Point Standings for the Friedman's Freshmarket Late Models.
After a very solid 2007 which saw Lux capture the 2007 MACS Rookie of the Year crown, Matt looks to continue to travel and venture out to some of the 'bigger' late model events in 2008. "We're going to follow the MACS series again this year, it's a great series and we hope to improve on our Rookie title and fifth place finish in the points to possibly contend for the championship," a confident Lux continued, "We would also like to head out to Eldora again in 2008 and maybe make our way out to Knoxville for the Late Model Nationals since we were unable to attend last year despite being invited."
Matt will open his 2008 season on Friday, March 28th at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA. and will be there weekly until the 2008 MACS campaign gets underway on Saturday and Sunday, April 13th-14th at 'The Rock' Allegany County Speedway in Cumberland, MD and Hesston Speedway in Hesston, PA.
