Dave Seay HAMPTON, Va. (March 7) - The Dirt Nation™ Live presented by Lucas Oil radio show for Monday evening March 10th will once again present a jaw dropping, fist pumping, controversial lineup of guests and celebrities from the world of dirt racing.
Dirt Nation™ Live will spotlight the Alltel DIRTcar Allstar contest as Steve Williams, Motorsports Manager for Alltel Wireless, leading vote getter Dave Hess Jr. and Advance Super DIRTcar winner Brett Hearn join the show to discuss this unique promotion. The Alltel Allstar Challenge will award the winning driver a $12,000 sponsorship from Alltel Wireless. To be eligible you had to win an event during the Alltel DIRTcar Nationals held at Volusia Speedway Park. Voting continues up until 11:59pm on Sunday, March 16th at www.alltelallstar.com.
Dirt late model and e-mod driver Dave Hess Jr. of Waterford, PA is currently leading the Alltel Allstar contest by less than 1% of the total vote. To become eligible Hess picked up a victory in is E-Mod during the Alltel DIRTcar Nationals. Hess is also an accomplished dirt late model driver and picked up several wins during the 2007 season. Hess pilots the #44 Craiger Race Engines powered Pontiac GTO Rocket and #44 Clinger Built E-Mod with sponsorship from Hess Garage & Salvage, Linda's Notary Service, Beacon Lubricants Inc., Jim Brozell Construction, Collision World, Plyler Overhead Door and Texas Roadhouse.
Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series competitor and six time Mr. DIRT Brett 'The Jet' Hearn of Sussex, NJ. Hearn picked up a victory and is eligible for the $12,000 prize. Hearn also picked up the Alltel DIRTcar Nationals Big Block Modified Championship, tying Billy Pauch for the top honors. Hearn will also weigh in on drive safety and the northeast modified scene. Hearn drives the Madsen Motorsports owned Teo #20 sponsored by Wentworth Custom Homes, Madsen Overhead Doors, Fox Hill Campgrounds and BPG Racing.
