Carolina Clash Series
GASTONIA, N.C. - With heavy storms forecasted for the weekend the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series has decided to postpone the events scheduled for this weekend at Carolina Speedway. "With the price of fuel we did not want our race teams and valued race fans to drive to Carolina Speedway this weekend for nothing," said Carolina Clash President Larry Lee. "The forecast is really bad for tomorrow (Friday) and into Saturday morning, with rain and wind. We are disappointed because we were looking for a record turnout for this event. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at Lancaster Speedway next Saturday March 15th." Their will be an announcement early next week on a make-up date for Carolina's event. The next race on the Carolina Clash schedule will be next Saturday night at Lancaster Speedway. This will also be a 50 lap $5,000 to win main event. For more info visit www.carolinaclash.com

Southern All Stars Series
CHATSWORTH, Ga. - The North Georgia Speedway opener, the Ernest Young Memorial, has been postponed due to weather. The Southern All Star sanctioned event will be run on Friday March 14. "You can't do anything about the weather except plan around it. The cold and wet weather forecast for this Friday and Saturday has put Ernest Young Memorial on hold until Friday, March 14," said North Georgia promoter Monty Morrow. "We will run it conjunction with the Shamrock at Cleveland Speedway, which will give the racers and fans back to back big races to kick off the season."

7th Annual Rebel Challenge
COLUMBUS, Miss. - Due to a forecast that includes cold temperatures along with rain and frozen precipitation, Columbus Speedway officials have been made the decision to postpone the 7th Annual Brown Engineering Rebel Challenge Presented by Southeastern Ag Transport, Inc. The event was scheduled for this Thursday - Saturday, March 6th-8th at Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi. A reschedule date will be announced in the next few weeks.
