CHICAGO, Ill. (March 5) - This Wednesday evening, March 5, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. (EST), Clamped Up will take to the airwaves live at www.racetalkradio.com with your hosts, Dennis Michelsen and CJ Swank.
On this week's show, World of Outlaws Public Relations Director Kevin Kovac will stop by the studio to discuss the upcoming 2008 Outlaws season, the Outlaws performance in Florida and the newest safety push within the sport of Late Model racing.
Dennis and CJ will then tackle a duo of Late Model drivers who compete within the AMP Series and get 'Up In Their Grill'.
2007 AMP Series Rookie of the Year, Kyle Beard will join the program to discuss his 2007 season, what his plans are for 2008 and what inspires him to hit dirt ovals every week. Beard pilots the #86/GRT by Frye/Samuel's Performance Racing Engine/KB Transport/Gary Beard Trucking Late Model. 14 year old Baron Herndon will also be featured in the second half of the broadcast. Herndon will tackle the issues the faces young drivers, talk about his 2008 AMP Series plans and discuss the family committment it takes to get him from school to the track every week. Herndon pilots the #26 Herndon Racing/Stinger Late Model.
During this 60 minute slide through the entire United States, Dennis and CJ will bring you the best dirt information from around the country. Each week, there will be interviews with a variety of racers and personalities within the sport; the latest dirt track news from coast to coast; special segments devoted to young racers we think you should take a look at; fans speaking out and telling you exactly what is on their mind; moments where we look back at the best racers from 20 years ago; along with a lot of laugher and some mud-slinging. Note: The slinging will be from host to host; we assure you that no drivers or track personnel will be harmed in the production of this 60 minute showcase.
