Christy Hudson ALEXANDRIA, Ark. (March 3) - Andy Hockenhull of Conway, Arkansas, will be making is presence known in the Black, White and Purple # 95H, GRT Late Model powered by Hammer Racing Engines with the AMP series for the 2008 Race season.
Hockenhull will start his second season with the AMP Series. Due to work scheduling he will be unable to attend the first weekend with the series but looks full speed to the remainder of the 2008 schedule.
Fans and promoters can be watching for Andy Hockenhull on March 29th as he unloads at the Monticello, Speedway in Monticello, Arkansas.
If you have ever met Andy you know where the New Mexico Gentleman came from, it was a sure way to capture the love of his life Becky who assists as crew chief of the Hockenhull team.
Andy finished fifth place in the over all point standings with AMP and picked up the 2007 LuvRacin Sportsman of the Year Award for his commitment to the series and his efforts in helping all teams that were in need of assistance throughout the season.
The team looks forward to the full season with AMP and the competition and fellowship among the drivers that awaits the fields each week.

Edens Marks 2008 For Rookie Of The Year Run In AMP Series Action
Twenty-six year old pilot and Sherwood, AK native Chris Edens, has announced that he will contend for Rookie of the Year during the 2008 AMP Series season.
Chris Edens will pilot the #26 Shaw Late Model powered by Danny Scott
With eleven years under his belt, this will be the first time that Edens brings his team to the circuits within the AMP Series schedule.
Edens brings a talented crew, that will include Kevin Edens and Crew Chief J.R. Mills, to his 2008 late model arsenal; along with the strong support from his wife Amber.
The experience that backs Edens will be an added bonus to the thick talent pool that the AMP Series has to offer. Edens is the previous winner of two Karting State Championships, 11 Karting Track Championships and 1 SKUSA National Championship and marks his home track as the Kartways of Arkansas -- a different world from the late model madness that he will enter in 2008.
