BATESVILLE, Ark. (February 27) - The "Batesville Bullet" Wendell Wallace and his newly-formed GRT House Car team invaded the Sunshine State of Florida recently to kick-off their highly anticipated 2008 racing season! Wendell entered six races during the course of his "Speedweeks 2008" journey, three at the East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida from February 7-9 and three at the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida from February 11-14. The Batesville, Arkansas native found little luck during his stint down south, as he only made his way into one feature event. Wendell finished twenty-fourth in the $7,000 to win UMP DIRTcar Series race at Volusia on Monday, February 11 after running second in his heat race.

You can view a race-by-race recap from "Speedweeks 2008" online at www.wendellwallace.com!

"The best thing about Speedweeks is that it is now over," quoted Wallace today. "East Bay is not my cup of tea and Volusia was fast and rough all week. I have had decent luck at Volusia in the past when the track gets slow and slicks off, but there was none of that during the Alltel DIRTcar Nationals. You can't base your season off of Speedweeks thankfully, so we will just regroup and get ready for Clarksville on March 7 and 8."

The annual 'Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic' will be held at the Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee on Friday and Saturday, March 7-8. The two-day show will be highlighted by a $10,000 to win feature event on Saturday evening. More information concerning the race at Clarksville will be made available in next week's press release!

UPCOMING SCHEDULE:
March 7-8 | Clarksville (TN) Speedway, Toilet Bowl Classic | $10,000 to win
March 13 | Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway, March Madness | $5,000 to win
March 14 | Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway, March Madness | $5,000 to win
March 15 | Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway, March Madness | $10,000 to win
March 21 | Batesville (AR) Speedway, SUPR | $1,250 to win
March 22 | Batesville (AR) Speedway, SUPR | $2,500 to win
