Dennis Daniel ANTIOCH, Calif. (February 20) - Antioch Speedway is proud to announce that the 2008 season will include a new division, the UMP Pro Late Models (Crate Late Models). The new series will run under the national UMP sanction, where drivers will be eligible for track, state and national point championships and have a uniform set of rules in which to compete.
The UMP Pro Late Models provide an excellent, affordable solution, where drivers can compete knowing that the engines each driver is competing with is the same. The drivers who succeed are the one who setup the car to handle the best and who can get up on the wheel and take the car to the front.
Antioch Speedway will host ten UMP Pro Late Model events in 2008, with the season debut scheduled for April 12, 2008. Remaining dates are: 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 6/28, 7/12, 8/2, 8/30, 9/6 and 9/20.
Antioch Speedway is located in Northern California at the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds in Antioch, CA. For more information regarding the Speedway, please check our website, www.AntiochSpeedway.com for more information.
