VICKSBURG, Miss. (February 13) - Fresh off his first win of the 2008 season and first ever win at Columbus Speedway, Bub McCool is set to return to action this weekend at Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Tennessee for the 6th Annual Winterfest.
Bub will be in pursuit of his second $3,000 payday of the year at Winchester Speedway this weekend in the 40 lap Super Late Model event. Bub pocketed $3,000 two weeks ago at Columbus Speedway in the 8th Annual Winter Classic and hopes to carry the momentum into this weekend's event. McCool will pilot his #57j Trakstar/Barker Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle against many of the region's top drivers this weekend.
The 6th Annual Winterfest gets underway on Friday with an Open Practice session from 4pm to 9pm. On Saturday, February 16th, the driver's meeting will be at 12:30pm with hot laps to follow. For more information, please visit www.WinchesterSpeedwayOnline.com .
