YORK, Neb. (February 5) - The 2007 Champions of Junction Motor Speedway and a few hundred of their friends got together at the Holiday Inn in York Nebraska. JMS track Announcer Wayne Dake was in control of the micro phone as the Awards began.

First up were the Top Ten in the Holiday Inn of York sponsored 4 cyl FWD class.10-Andy Grimes 9-Alex Koehler 8-Jeremy Foos 7-CalebHetrick 6-Michael Wiese 5-Ryan Pedersen 4-Andy Sole 3-Sam Wiarda 2-Troy Hofmann #1 2007 Holiday Inn of York 4 cylinder FWD Champion Chuck Wergin.

2007 NAPA Auto Parts Late Model Champion John Bridges. John informed everyone that he is retired,not really his choice, John has some severe back injuries. After some fun with Street Stock Champion Andy Wilkinson and his wife, all are eyes were on Junction Motor Speedway owner Delmer Friesen as he entered the BallRoom dressed in a NASCAR OFFICAL uniform, on stage with Delmer is George Silbermann the Managing Director of Racing for NASCAR. JMS has gone NASCAR. Delmer and Mr. Silbermann informed the group about the new NASCAR WHELEN All-American Series for the crate motor Late Models to run in this great series. JMS is now one of the almost 60 NASCAR Home Tracks. With over a 100 cars each week and now NASCAR the 2008 season will be a record breaker. BE THERE!
