VIENNA, W.V. (January 22) - Steve Shaver and the Shaver Motorsports / Cosgrove Racing Team will travel to Georgia and compete all ten nights at Golden Isles Speedway's "Super Bowl of Racing" January 23 through February 2nd. 2008 will be Steve's 25th year in motorsports and he looks to get and early win in the season at the Georgia facility. "Were excited about our 25th year and the 2008 racing season. We had several good runs late last year and hope to continue that momentum into this year", stated Steve.
Steve and the team will compete all ten nights at Golden Isles Speedway before heading to East Bay Raceway Park and compete in the season opening events sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. The DART Winternationals will begin February 4th and run through February 9th at East Bay Raceway Park. From there Steve will tentatively plan to travel to Volusia Speedway Park and compete in the speedweeks events the following week.
