WHEATLAND, Mo. (January 22) - Lucas Oil Products is proud to announce their presenting sponsorship of the O'Reilly MLRA beginning this season. Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager, Kevin Greven said, "It's an excellent opportunity for Lucas Oil Products on several fronts."
"To begin with, the O'Reilly MLRA is one of the premier regional late model touring series in the Nation," added Greven. "We are fortunate to have them here at the Lucas Oil Speedway five times in 2008 and even more excited to team Lucas Oil up with O'Reilly Auto Parts for all 24 races on the MLRA schedule this season."
Greven, the former Motor Sports Marketing Director for O'Reilly Auto Parts should know a little about both. His predecessor, Eli Garner said, "What we have here are two of the best motor sports marketing entities in the Nation teaming up with one of best Late Model racing sanctioning bodies in the Country."
"We are really excited," said Harriett Chancellor of the MLRA, "We have worked really hard to build this organization and when great sponsors like O'Reilly Auto Parts and Lucas Oil want to be involved, it makes us think we have done something right."
Greven and Garner both agree for their perspective companies, it is all about getting their names in front of their customers. "There is know better demographic for either of us then racers and race fans," ended Greven, "and I can't think of a better more respected group to take us to them then the MLRA."
The O'Reilly MLRA presented by Lucas Oil kicks off their 2008 Thunder Tour on April 4th. Their 2008 appearances at the Lucas Oil Speedway include: The O'Reilly MLRA Late Model Clash on April 5th, The $40,000 to win SuperClean Diamond Nationals on May 9th-10th, The O'Reilly Late Model Series Challenge June 20th-21st, The CMH Late Model Spectacular on July 19th, and the O'Reilly MLRA Late Model Clash Round 2 on August 23rd.
