Jason Frankel reigned as national champion in the IMCA J & J Steel Late Model division, after racking up a dozen weekly feature victories. Frankel also topped point standings at his hometown Quincy, Ill., Raceway and at 34 Raceway before winning for the first time in his brief Deery Brothers Summer Series career.
