Tony Jackson Jr. takes MARS/CCSDS win at Outlaw Motor Speedway

OKTAHA, Oklahoma (June 10) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil and the Mid America Racing Series (MARS) locked horns on Friday night at Outlaw Motor Speedway, where Tony Jackson Jr. claimed the $3,000 victory.

Jackson Jr. was the Pole Sitter for the 35-lap affair. Jackson jumped to the lead at the drop of the green flag. He led the first sixteen circuits before the persistence of 2nd-starting Randy Timms propelled him to the lead on lap-17.

Timms paced the field for three laps around the 3/8-mile oval before Jackson Jr. shot back to the top spot on lap-20. From that point the Lebanon, Missouri racer paced the field for the final fifteen laps.



The win made Jackson Jr. the seventh different winner on the CCDS tour in 2016, and marked the fourth of his career with the tour.

Jason Hughes, Jack Sullivan, and Kyle Beard completed the Top-5.
