John Ownbey wins Ultimate opener at North Georgia Speedway

CHATSWORTH, Georgia (March 5) - Thirty five drivers signed in at North Georgia Speedway on Saturday, but John Ownbey of Cleveland, Tenn. lead all 40 laps to pick up his first career Ultimate Super Late Model Series victory along with the season opener for the series. Jason Hiett, Donald McIntosh, Casey Roberts, and David Payne rounded out the top five finishers as the checkered flag fell. Donald McIntosh set fast time in qualifying with a time of 13.733 seconds. Consolation race winners included Skip Arp and Jason Croft.
