Brandon Kinzer Transfers into Ponderosa's Fall Classic; Talladega Double-Dip Next

ALLEN, KY (October 15) - Brandon Kinzer and his #18 team returned to racing action on October 9-10 at the legendary Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky. The annual running of the 'Fall Classic' was on tap at Ponderosa and the Southern Nationals Bonus Series-special boasted a whopping $25,000 payday. On Friday night, Brandon started his weekend by laying down the twentieth fastest lap during qualifying and later finishing fifth in his stacked heat race.

After grabbing the second and final transfer spot through Saturday's consolation race behind Paul Wilmoth, Jr., Brandon started the 100-lap 'Fall Classic' from the outside of the tenth row. BK battled hard early in the extra-distance affair before going down a lap to eventual winner Chris Madden, which prompted the Allen, Kentucky ace to pull into the infield and settle for a nineteenth place performance. Full results from "The Pond" can be accessed online at www.southernnationalsseries.com.

The Kinzer Motorsports team has opted to take the upcoming October 16-17 weekend off from racing action, but will return to competition on October 23-24 at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama. An unsanctioned show will kick things off at TST on Friday night paying $2,000 to the winner, while the Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) will roll into town on Saturday evening to preside over a $4,000 to win shootout. Both specials will be held in conjunction with the NASCAR visit across the road at Talladega Superspeedway.

Brandon and the Kinzer Motorsports team would like to thank the following marketing partners for their continued loyalty and support: Kinzer Drilling Company, Will Kinzer Foundation for Autism Research, Quality Natural Gas, Bluegrass Arms, MB Customs Race Cars, MarsRaceCars.com, Gaerte Engines, CMD Race Shocks, Joe Provo Racewear, RideHonda.com, Allstar Performance, Art's Radiator and Welding, Beyea Headers, Delph Communications, Design 500, Dyer's Top Rods, Goodridge Hose & Fittings, Hypercoils, Mike's Custom Tanks (MCT), Perry County Tire, Pro Armor, Quarter Master, Real Racing Wheels, Scott Performance Wire, Tiger Rear Ends, Ultra Shield Race Products, VP Racing Fuels, Wells Racing Photography, Wiles Driveshafts, Wilwood Engineering, and Wrisco Industries.
