R.J. Conley Climbs into Top Ten in Rare Visit to Ohio Valley Speedway; PRP Next
 
WHEELERSBURG, OH (October 1) - With Portsmouth (OH) Raceway Park succumbing to Mother Nature on Saturday evening, September 26, R.J. Conley was the lone Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) driver to turn laps over the weekend, as he made a rare visit to Ohio Valley Speedway in Washington, West Virginia. A $5,000 top prize was on the line in an unsanctioned special at Ohio Valley on Saturday night.
 
R.J. advanced up to fourth in his heat race and later won his consolation event to gain access into the 50-lapper. The Wheelersburg, Ohio ace then picked off seven competitors on the slippery racing surface during the headliner on his way to a solid eighth place performance. All four CMI pilots - Delmas, Rod, R.J., and J.T. Conley - are scheduled to be in action this Saturday night, October 3 at the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. The weekly Super Late Model event at PRP will boast a $2,000 payday. This race will serve as the final tune-up for the upcoming 'Dirt Track World Championship,' which will be held at Portsmouth Raceway Park on October 16-17 and will pay a whopping $100,000 to the victor.
