Billy Moyer Jr. Bests CCSDS Home State Action; World 100 Next by Ben Shelton
BATESVILLE, Arkansas (September 8) – For the third weekend in a row Billy Moyer Jr. pocketed the winner’s check in a pair of events behind the wheel of his Crop Production Services #21jr Moyer Xtreme by Longhorn/Pro Power Racing Engine Super Late Model.
“This team is on a tear right now, and hopefully we can carry this momentum into the World 100 this weekend,” commented Moyer Jr.
On Friday night Billy Moyer Jr. made the trip to Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas) for the Labor Day Classic sanctioned by the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS). Drawing a field of twenty-seven entries, Billy earned the 8th place starting spot for the feature via preliminary action. Battling for the $3,000 payday, Moyer jr. continued on his red-hot streak as he rocketed to the front of the field en route to capturing the victory with Shane Hebert, Brandon Smith, Jack Sullivan, and Wendell Wallace wrapping up the top five.
The following night brought Billy to his home-track Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas) for the second night of the Triple Crown sanctioned by the CCSDS. In a field of eighteen Super Late Models, Moyer Jr. earned the pole position starting spot for the feature with a heat race victory. Capturing his 4th straight victory, Billy Moyer Jr. led all 30-laps in the A-Main, logging his 9th win of the season. Bagging another $3,000 payday, Billy was trailed to the finish line by Clay Fisher, Tyler Erb, Stacey Taylor, and Wendell Wallace.

Billy Moyer Jr. is now set to invade the historic Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) this weekend for the 45th Annual World 100. The event opens on Thursday and Friday with twin $5,000-to-win features each night. The ante is increased on Saturday night, when a $48,000 top prize will be on the line to go along with the coveted globe trophy.
