by Ben Shelton
CLEVELAND, Tenn (August 18) – Riley Hickman parked his Hickman Manufacturing #1V Austin Trucking/CVR Late Model in victory lane once again over the weekend with a triumph at Cleveland Speedway.

On Friday night Riley Hickman headed to I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) for a Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series event. In a field of 28 cars, Hickman recorded the fastest time in qualifying. Starting on the pole for the feature, Riley battle in the top five throughout the 50-lapper before ultimately logging a 3rd place finish behind race winner, John Ownbey, and Ryan King with Tim Busha and Cory Hedgecock rounding out the top five.

The following night brought Hickman a short distance to Cleveland Speedway (Cleveland, Tennessee) to compete in the Super Late Model division. Recording the fast time in qualifying, Hickman transferred into the feature with thirteen other competitors. Bringing home his 12th win of the season, Riley cruised to the 25-lap A-Main victory. He was followed across the line by Kevin Gibson, Heath Hindman, Spencer Singleton, and Paul Tims.

“It was another solid weekend for our team,” commented Hickman. “It feels good to be challenging for wins pretty much every night, no matter what class we are racing.”
