Tyler Erb Bests Battleground SUPR Foes; Topless 100 Next by Ben Shelton
MAGNOLIA, Texas (August 11) – 18-year-old, Tyler Erb piloted his First Class Septic #91 Rocket by Erb Super Late Model to the victory with the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Races (SUPR) tour on Friday evening at Battleground Race Park.
Tyler Erb made the short trip to Battleground Race Park (Highlands, Texas) on Friday night for the $1,000 to win P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racing (SUPR) series event. With seventeen Super Late Models signed in, Tyler scored a 3rd place starting spot for the feature event. In the 20 lap finale Erb took the lead on the first lap and cruised to his fourth victory of the season. Scoring his third-career P&W Sales SUPR win, Tyler Erb ousted Jon Mitchell, Allen Tippen, Phil Dixon and Rob Litton.
Saturday night saw an increased car count of twenty-two Super Late Models for the $2,000 to win event. Earning a 7th place starting spot for the feature, Tyler advanced three spots in the 40-lapper, recording a 4th place finish behind Jon Mitchell, Curt Lipsey, Ricky Duke Jr., with Patrik Daniel coming in 5th.

The upcoming weekend, August 13th-15th will take Tyler to Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) for the 23rd Annual COMP Cams Topless 100. The $40,000-to-win event will be sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).
