Daniel Baggerly Charges to Runner-Up Finish in FUEL Stop at Fayetteville

RURAL RETREAT, VA (July 23) - Daniel Baggerly and his #16 team were in the Fayetteville Motor Speedway pit area on Saturday evening, July 18, as the FUEL Racing Series sanctioned a $3,000 to win program at the Fayetteville, North Carolina facility.

Daniel knocked down the sixth fastest lap during the qualifying session prior to placing second in his heat race - despite being bumped back a row for allegedly jumping the start of the race. After rolling off from the outside of the fourth row in the headliner, Daniel pointed his CVR racecar towards the front and rallied past six competitors en route to an impressive runner-up showing behind only victor Ross Bailes. Next up for the B&B Motorsports team will be a visit to the nearby Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia this Saturday night, July 25. Daniel will unload a Crate Late Model to compete in a weekly racing program at the picturesque facility. An $800 winner's check for the Crate Late Models will be up for grabs at Wythe this weekend.
