Rod Conley Right Place, Right Time in Winning Boone Coleman Memorial Gator 50

WHEELERSBURG, OH (June 11) - Rod Conley, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, bagged his third feature win of the 2015 campaign in thrilling fashion on Saturday evening, June 6 at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio! The unsanctioned 'Boone Coleman Memorial Gator 50' was held at PRP over the weekend and Rod finished third in his heat race during preliminary action. After starting the 50-lapper from the outside of the third row, "Hot Rod" drove all the way up to second and capitalized on leader Jackie Boggs' mechanical woes on the final lap to score the exciting $5,000 triumph over Jason Montgomery and Mark Frazier!

Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Delmas Conley pulled off the racing surface during his heat race with troubles, but unloaded the back-up car to start at the tail of the 'Boone Coleman Memorial Gator 50.' Delmas then drove from the back of the pack to claim a solid fourth place performance at the nearby facility. R.J. Conley timed in fourth quickest in qualifying, ran second in his heat race despite suffering a flat tire, and later experienced overheating problems in the A-Main, which led to a disappointing eleventh place effort. Complete results from Portsmouth Raceway Park can be viewed online at www.portsraceway.com.

The Conley Motorsports, Inc. teams will look to continue their winning ways in 2015 during a busy weekend from June 12-14 in the Buckeye State of Ohio. Rod Conley is slated to enter the first three events of the upstart "Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week," which will take the #71r team to Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg ($3,000 to win), Wayne County Speedway in Orrville ($4,000 to win), and Millstream Speedway in Findlay ($4,000 to win). R.J. Conley will join his older brother on Friday at Moler, while he will spend his Saturday evening at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio attending a $2,000 to win weekly show. Delmas and J.T. Conley will join in the action at PRP on Saturday as well. You can keep up with the latest schedule plans concerning all four CMI drivers by clicking on www.conleymotorsportsinc.com.
