Billy Moyer Starts Out on Summer Nationals Trail Following DLM DreamBATESVILLE, AR (June 10) - Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) took their new Moyer Victory Chassis to the hallowed high banks of Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from June 4-6 for the 21st edition of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' The three-day crown jewel extravaganza once again kicked off with a pair of Twin 25 preliminary programs. On Thursday night at Eldora, Billy Moyer ran fourth in his heat race and later climbed to eleventh by the end of the $2,500 to win feature event. At the "Big E" on Friday evening, Billy placed fifth in his loaded heat race prior to notching a thirteenth place effort in the $5,000 to win headliner.
The focus of our sport on Saturday was the 'Dirt Late Model Dream' and a hefty $100,000 top prize was once again on the line in the extra-distance affair. Unfortunately, Billy got into the wall on the first lap of his heat race, which caused him to finish fourteenth in the prelim. "Mr. Smooth" was done for the night and was not able to compete in the 100-lap 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' Complete results from the Buckeye State can be viewed online at

Billy and his famed #21 team are gearing up for the start of the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals, which launches tonight, June 10 at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana. The BMR team plans to enter the first four races of the "Hell Tour" this week, which will take them through the states of Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Following the $5,000 to win program tonight at Brownstown, a similar show will take place on Thursday evening at Kankakee County Speedway in Kankakee, Illinois.
The hectic week will then wrap up over the June 12-13 weekend with the annual running of the 'Masters' at the renowned Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin. A $5,000 winner's check will be up for grabs on Friday night, while Saturday's doubleheader finale boasts a $10,000 payday. Billy has 89 career Summer Nationals victories to his credit and has amassed six "Hell Tour" Championships during his illustrious career.
