Riggs Motorsports Off This Weekend Following Dirt Late Model DreamHARRISBURG, ILL (June 10) - Riggs Motorsports rolled into the world-famous Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from June 4-6 for the 21st edition of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' On Thursday night at Eldora, Jason Riggs ran second in his heat race and ninth in his $2,500 to win main event, while teammate Brian Shirley finished fifth in his heat race and twenty-first in his 25-lap weekend opener. At the "Big E" on Friday evening, a $5,000 top prize was on the line in another Twin 25 program. Brian placed second in his heat race prior to scoring a hard-fought sixth place performance in the A-Main, while Jason was unable to transfer into his 25-lapper.
The stakes were raised much higher in the Buckeye State on Saturday, as a whopping $100,000 winner's check was up for grabs in the 'Dirt Late Model Dream.' Unfortunately, both Riggs Motorsports drivers were unable to make the start in the 100-lap crown jewel extravaganza. Jason ran fifth in his heat race and seventh in his B-Main, while Brian finished seventh in his heat race and twenty-first in his B-Main.
