Brandon Kinzer on Podium in Halloween 50; Doubleheader at Talladega Short Track Ahead
 
ALLEN, KY (October 9) - Brandon Kinzer and his #18 team were back in the pit area at the nearby 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky on Saturday evening, October 4 for the annual running of the 'Halloween 50.'  The single-day affair paid $3,000 to the winner.  Brandon knocked down the third fastest lap during the qualifying session and later scored the win in heat race action.  After starting the 50-lapper from the second row, BK ran third much of the distance and eventually landed on the podium behind only victor Jackie Boggs and runner-up Dustin Linville.  Full results from 201 Speedway can be accessed online at www.201speedway.net.
 
With the weather forecast looking extremely dire throughout the region over the next several days, the Kinzer Motorsports team has opted to enjoy the October 10-11 weekend away from the racetrack.  Next up will be a big doubleheader on October 17-18 at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama.  With the stars of NASCAR across the street at Talladega Superspeedway, Brandon will try to steal the show in a pair of dirt races at TST.  A $2,000 payday will be on the line in an unsanctioned show on Friday evening, while a $4,000 to win Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) program is scheduled for Saturday night.  More information can be obtained by pointing your web browser to www.talladegashorttrack.com.
