Jackson Caps Career Weekend With Dominating Winchester 200 Victory
Henderson Flag to Flag for Crate LM Third

Winchester, VA- "We just won the Winchester 200!!" Were the words from a jubilant Keith Jackson after he scored the win in last Saturday's 51st running of the "Winchester 200" at Virginia's Winchester Speedway. The win for Jackson, worth a hefty $6000 pay day, was his fourth feature win at the track this season and his second of the weekend as he won Friday nights preliminary event as well aboard his MasterSbilt #11J.

Jason Covert and Jackson shared the front-row for the start of the 50-lap main with Jackson bursting into the race lead as the field raced off turn two. In almost a mirror image of Friday's event, Jackson clearly had the car to beat, as he would go on to lead all 50 caution-free laps in an event that took just a little over 15 minutes to complete. Jason Covert was steady in second, but was no threat to Jackson, and would settle for his second top-five finish of the weekend. "When we started this season we set some goals and one of them was to win the Winchester 200." Jackson stated during his post-race interview. "We were good in qualifying again and when we drew the second starting spot for the feature, I knew we had a good enough car to win, It was just a matter of who got to the front first and we were able to do that." Jackson noted that his second win of the weekend was truly a "team effort". "There's so many people who help with this car." Jackson emphasized. "Jim Stevens, Bruce Kane, Dale Beitler and especially my dad, this win is for them, because without those people we wouldn't be here right now." Former 200 winner Rick Eckert was third, Kenny Pettyjohn took fourth with Western Pa.'s Jared Miley rounding out the top-five. Heats for the 34 cars entered went to Tanner Kerr, Miley, Pettyjohn and Eckert with twin consolations going to Dale Hollidge and JT Spence.

Darin Henderson drove to his third win of the season in the 20-lap RUSH Crate Late Model event. Henderson, who started on the pole, blasted into the race lead entering turn-one and would eventually lead all 20, caution-free, feature laps as he would take the win by a wide margin over eventual runner-up Transton Stoner. "I don't want the season to end!!." Henderson stated in Winchester's victory lane. "This has been a dream season for us winning three times at Winchester and two at Potomac, I just want to give all the people from RUSH a big thank you for all they've done for the Crate cars this season." Timmy Booth took a strong third, Ben Bowie was fourth with Kris Eaton rounding out the top-five. Heats went to Stoner and Henderson.

Mike Corbin scored his second win of the season in the 15-lap Pure Stock feature. Corbin, who lined up second for the start, battled furiously with 2014 champion Mike Franklin for the first 11-laps until Franklin spun from contention. Corbin would then easily handle the remaining circuits to post his 14th overall feature win of the season. Craig Parill took second, Donnie Kenney was third, Josh Wilkins fourth with Mike Franklin rebounding for fifth. Heats went to Corbin and Franklin.

Dylan Rutherford drove to his third win of the season in the 15-lap Enduro stock feature. Rutherford wrestled the top-spot from Danny Holmes on the 8th-lap and would lead the distance to post the win. Holmes held on for second, Jim Gray was third, Paul Jones took fourth with Greg Mattingly taking fifth.

Michael Pfaff drove to his 6th win of the season in the nightcap 15-lap U-Car feature. Pfaff snared the race lead from 2014 track champion Jeff Wilkins on lap-seven and never looked back to score the win. Wilkins held tough for second, Terry Leach was third, Alan Dice took fourth with Greg Carrino completing the top-five.
