Conley Motorsports, Inc. Gears Up for Boone Coleman Gator 50 at PRP WHEELERSBURG, OH (June 12) - R.J. Conley and his #71c team invaded the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio from June 5-7 for the 20th edition of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream,' which kicked off with a pair of Twin 25 preliminary programs. On Thursday, R.J. finished sixth in his heat ace, third in his B-Main, and thirteenth in the $2,500 to win main event. At the "Big E" on Friday evening, R.J. ran second in heat race action, but later slipped back to twelfth in the $5,000 to win feature event. The Wheelersburg, Ohio ace was then eying the $100,000 top prize in the 'Dirt Late Model Dream' on Saturday night, but a seventh place effort in his heat race and a sixteenth place performance in his B-Main unfortunately kept R.J. out of the 100-lap crown jewel spectacular.
Delmas Conley started his weekend out at Eldora on Thursday, as the patriarch of the racing Conley clan finished sixth in his heat race, fourth in his B-Main, and twentieth in the $2,500 to win feature. The Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer then opted to leave the hallowed Eldora Speedway grounds and instead competed at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday. Delmas overheated in the weekly main event, which boasted a $2,000 payday, and was relegated to a disappointing eighteenth place showing.
Rod Conley took his #71r machine to Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio and Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio over the June 6-7 weekend. On Friday at Moler, Rod ran second in his heat race, third in the dash, and fourth in the $1,500 to win main event behind only winner Kevin Wagner, Chad Stapleton, and Greg Johnson. At PRP on Saturday, "Hot Rod" debuted a brand-new Rocket car to a solid fifth place finish in the $2,000 to win showdown. Full results from the huge weekend of racing can be accessed online at
