Eric Cooley Masters Moulton for First Win of 2014; Clash at the Mag Next

FULTON, MS (June 3) – Eric Cooley powered his #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model to his first triumph of 2014 on Saturday night with a victory at Moulton Speedway.

Eric Cooley entered a Weekly Racing Series event at Moulton Speedway (Moulton, Alabama) on Saturday night in his #33b Bryson Motorsports Super Late Model.  Fifteen entries were on hand for the program, and Eric started his outing by charging to fast time honors during qualifications, which earned him the pole position for the finale.  Cooley went on to lead flag-to-flag in the feature for his first victory of the 2014 season.

"I hate that it took almost until the middle part of the year to get our first win, but the reality is because of a busy work schedule we just haven't had the chance to race that much," said Cooley.  "We've got some big money shows coming up around the house so hopefully we can capitalize on those in the coming weeks."

Eric will likely not race anywhere this coming weekend as he sets his sights on the annual Clash at the Mag, which will be held June 12th-14th at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi).  The $20,000-to-win event will be sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).  For more information on the event, please visit www.MagnoliaDirt.com .
