Mark Whitener Records Top Five at North Florida Speedway

MIDDLEBURG, Florida (May 14) - Mark Whitener returned to the driver's seat of the #58 Big Frog Motorsports/Dave's Towing/B&B Produce/Barry Wright Late Model over the weekend in United Dirt Late Model Championship Series (UDLMCS) competition and came away with a top five finish to show for his efforts.

North Florida Speedway (Lake City, Florida) played host to a $3,000-to-win event with the UDLMCS on Saturday evening.  Mark Whitener earned the second starting spot in his heat race via his qualifying efforts, and went on to claim the win which sent him to the redraw for the feature. In the redraw Whitener was the recipient of the seventh starting position for the feature. 

In the 40 lap main event, Mark survived a caution-filled affair to advance to a fifth place finish in the final rundown over race winner, Jason Fitzgerald, Austin Kirkpatrick, Bo Allen, and Brandon DeWitt.
