Daniel Baggerly Breaks Own Track Record at VMS; Earns Pair of Podiums
 
RURAL RETREAT, VA (May 8) - Daniel Baggerly and the B&B Motorsports team made their way back to the state-of-the-art Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Virginia on Saturday evening, May 3 for a special Twin Features night!  During qualifying for the Aaron's Pro Late Models, Daniel broke his own track record by laying down an ultra-quick lap of 18.488 seconds around the big 1/2-mile oval.
 
In the first of two 15-lap features, Daniel drew an eight for the inversion, but battled back to the front to race for the lead before winding up a strong third in the final rundown.  In the $300 to win nightcap, "Bagz" finished one spot better, as he crossed underneath the checkers in the second position behind only victor Tyler Bare.  Full results from Twin Features night at VMS can be viewed online at www.vamotorspeedway.com.
 
This upcoming weekend, the #16 team will travel to the Knoxville, Tennessee area to put the final touches on a new CVR racecar that they hope to debut on Saturday night, May 10.  If the car is completed in time on Saturday, Daniel plans to shake it down at the picturesque Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia.  A weekly show is planned for Saturday at the 1/2-mile speedplant for the FASTRAK Crate Late Models.  Additional information on Wythe Raceway can be obtained by pointing your web browser to www.wytheraceway.com.
