Changes Coming In Martin's Team

by Thomas Montgomery
SPARTA, Tennessee (01/06/14) - Local Late Model star and fan favorite, Mark Martin has decided to make some changes in his racing operation for next season. Martin recently purchased a Swartz Chassis from Luna Motorsports and Speed Shop. The veteran racer has been piloting a GRT by Skip Arp Chassis, but bought the Swartz after talking with Mike and Michael Luna. "The Baxter Bullet", who won 7 out of the 8 races that he entered at Crossville Raceway in '13, also pulled off a big $5,000 pay day at a special steel head race at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, TN. Vic Hill will still provide the powerplants that gives Martin the horsepower that he needs. More big news coming out of the Martin camp is that Mark's youngest son, Mark Allon, is scheduled to drive the Swartz Chassis car to begin the year.

Luna Motorsports and Speed Shop has products and services that cover all forms of motorsports including circle track, drag racing, rock crawling, and even diesel trucks. The race shop also serves as a dealer for Swartz Chassis, PPM Chassis, and TNT Chassis. In addition, race bodies are assembled in house, and the company is progressing toward obtaining a jig for frame repair.

Luna Motorsports and Speed Shop is located at 148 Doan Road, Sparta, Tennessee 38583, and they can be reached by calling 931-761-2456. A new website for Luna Motorsports and Speed Shop will be available online in the coming weeks.
